What is Sakura? Sakura is the Japanese word for Cherry Blossom (kanji 桜) and it is commonly used in traditional style Japanese, on a tree, falling from the tree into water or wind. Usually the five petaled flower is coloured in light pink to pink/red on the petals, with yellow stamen (the middle bit).
