Evening all, just a quick post, likely to be updated over the coming months, and years as I really flesh out this idea, but I thought it would be a nice resource for the local community here in Tokyo to have a directory of tattoo artists and their details in English!

Am very open to suggestions, as I hope that this will be able to grow, and become a useful place for hunting for a tattoo artist, whether you live here in Tokyo, or whether you are just looking to get some ink done whilst on a vacation, or business trip!

I’m going to be in Tokyo in Sept. can anyone tell me where i can get a traditional tebori tattoo? I only have about 2 hours to get the tattoo.

I am a german tattoo artist living in the us and in costa rica.
I have been tattoing for 10 years,paint and draw since I was a kid.
I would realy like to visit japan to work with a japanese tattoo artist for inspiration exchange and get immersed in japanese culture.Sadly I don’t speak japanese,but eager to learn.
Any suggestions as how to connect with studios that are open to guest spotting would be greatly aprcited.

The directory page looks great, maybe you can also add US dollar amount to the prices so people vacationing from the US would know the exact amount.
